Mental health goals for 2025

Happy New Year 2025!

2024 has been and gone and now its time for me to look at 2025 mental health goals and achievements. I’m not really one who makes new year’s resolutions and when I do I never complete them and something usually goes wrong.

I’m currently having DBT counselling every fortnight which is helping me understand not to rush into things and think more before I act as I have a habit of acting on impulse and making situations worse.

Counselling requires some work as I have to read through pages and answer questions on the worksheets.

Losing weight and exercise

One of my top mental health goals is that I would like to lose weight this year it’s really important for me to be healthier and look healthier despite my plantar fasciitis ; which has kept me from running and walking long distances for over a year.

Last year I had three shots of shock wave therapy at £50 a time and the pain is still there when I stretch my leg out.

Blogging more as part of my mental health goals

I haven’t been posting to this blog as much as I would have liked to due to a former friend who tried to get me into more trouble and still has a go at my mate about me.

The whole thing has made me feel a mixture of sad and angry and I’m dealing with this through counselling and finding different ways of dealing with trauma.

I’m aiming to become a google certified expert, whatever that means but I really would love to pass the test. I really enjoy all digital trends and want to carry on pursuing my work in this area.

Last Year, I had the problem with people judging this blog and me due to my mental health problems. This also really affected me and my direction on whether to continue with this blog as my writing was criticised.

I’m hoping that the counselling techniques can help me when being faced with negativity.
